All About BeechGrove Stable
and Kennels
Hello and welcome to the Beechgrove Stable and Kennels
I am Elese Alsup, the owner and operator of the Beech Grove
Stable and Kennels.
I have always had a love of animals and working outdoors.
Growing up on a dairy, beef and crop farm in Manchester, TN was
the perfect place for me. At eight I received my first horse and
begin learning to ride.
While teaching high school I took up the hobby of foxhunting in
the early 90’s with a small foxhunting club in middle Tennessee.
During that time I became first flight fieldmaster and later jt.
Master of this club.
After retiring from teaching in 2000, I started, along with a
few friends and local riders, the Beech Grove Hunt . I was the
amateur huntsman for the club which involved breeding, training,
exercising and developing a pack of hounds and, of course,
hunting them each week during the season. In the thirteen years
the Beech Grove Hunt existed, I developed a good, honest and
dependable pack. Not only did the BGH pack show good sport year
after year in the hunt field but in the off season they were
entered in field trials and bench shows in which several ribbons
for performance and confirmation where won over the years.
After closing BGH, I continue to
enjoy the sport of fox hunting with Hillsboro Hounds in middle
Tennessee.
Left with a kennel and several extra stalls and too much pasture
for just my horses, I decided to open a boarding stable and
kennel. The 250 acre farm consists of miles of trails, beautiful
scenic country to ride with many jumps left over from the BGH
days of hosting a cross country event each year.
This is a small operation where attention to detail and customer
satisfaction is a priority. Here your horse, dog or cat will
receive the best care possible with their safety and comfort in
mind.

Hello! My name is Adrienne. I have been an employee of
Beechgrove Stables and Kennels since February 2019 and it has
been a wonderful adventure. I am an avid animal lover, so
working with and caring for them has always been my passion. I
have owned and worked with my own Huskies for the last 12 years,
and currently have two phenomenal fur babies, Chaos and Kira.
Additionally, I spent time working at a horse stable in
Christiana in 2019 and 2020. While the work has been tough, I
have always found being around horses, dogs and cats to be
relaxing and satisfying, and hope to continue tending to animals
for a long time to come
